This Privacy Policy explains, in plain and honest terms, what personal data we collect through the Orpheus Hymns website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. Last updated: May 2026.

What data we collect

We only collect the email address you give us voluntarily, in two places on the site:

  • when you fill in the contact form, so that we can reply to you;
  • when you request the Sonochromatic PDF through its form.

We do not ask for any other personal details and we do not collect data secretly.

Why we use it

  • to send you the PDF or the reply you asked for;
  • and, only if you give your consent, to keep you updated via our newsletter about new creations and announcements.

We never sell or rent your data to third parties.

Who processes the data

To send the newsletter we use the service MailerLite, which stores your email address on our behalf as a data processor. Email correspondence is handled through our email provider. These providers process your data only for the purposes described above.

External content

The site contains links and embedded videos from YouTube. When you interact with these, YouTube may set its own cookies in line with its own privacy policy, which we do not control.

Cookies

Our site stores a small consent preference locally in your browser, so it can remember that you have seen the cookie notice and not show it to you again. It is not used for tracking and is not sent anywhere.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:

  • request access to the data we hold about you;
  • request its deletion;
  • object to the processing;
  • and withdraw your consent at any time (every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link).
